Software Update Checker

Anybody using a Windows-based PC knows how difficult it can be to keep all of your software up-to-date and after a format, how long do you spend searching for all the necessary applications to download and install?

Have no fear, File Hippo is here with their new and improved Update Checker.  After installing the update checker, it scans your computer for software that you have installed and then directs you to the File Hippo website where it provides a neat list of applications that can be updated.

If this isn’t enough, you can choose to view a list of all your currently installed applications (that are available through the File Hippo website) including their install paths and you can choose to display beta updates or hide them all together.

An absolute MUST for anybody using a Windows operating system to keep all their software up-to-date and working as it should be.

Casual Gaming

Got five minutes spare before leaving the house?  Stuck waiting for a task to complete at work before you can continue with what you were doing?  Casual Games are the answer to your boredom!

There’s a great new website been launched called MoTooT that reviews the latest casual games that you can play online or download to your computer to play at your leisure.  Some great games have been reviewed so far such as Rollercoaster Creator and Bowja the Ninja.

MoTooT is to be updated several times a week so there will always be new games for you to try.  They are also categorized so that you can select to play games that involved nothing more than your computer keyboard or games with dinosaurs.  The site is fairly new, so the owners are looking for game suggestions, why not let them know your favourite games and they may show up on the website at some point in the future!

Bux.to

There are hundreds of websites online that offer you money to click on advertisements. Bux.to has been paying out big money recently to a lot of users.

It’s VERY simple to earn money. Register at the website, visit the ‘Surf Ads’ page and then click on adverts. You must view each advert for 30 seconds, then your account gets credited with $0.01. Once you have earned $10 you can cashout (currently only to AlertPay).

There is also currently a $0.05 sign up bonus. I have only been a member for three days and already my account is up to $0.42. By referring other members you earn exactly what they earn. So, if you refer 5 people, who click 10 ads each per day, within 10 days, you have earned $5.00 purely from your referrals. Sounds good doesn’t it!
